Today is the 14th of August … once a very noteworthy date for the masses. Now … my cell hymn “Yeh watan tumhara hai … tum ho pasbaan is k” whenever it receives text like ….
‘Lahoo mein dooob rahi hai Fiza-e-Arz-e-Watan
Main kis zuban se kahon Jashn-e-Azadi Mubarak ho tujhay’
A generation has grown up witnessing strike calls from political n religious parties, ritual of tire n vehicle torching, ghastly sounds of ammo and inhumanly scenes on electronic and print media…. Who is to be held liable for?
The only sport a bystander can experience as a nightmare in a broad day light is the youth’s reenactment of these deeds with their toy guns.
The construction of our primary academic institution has shrunk so much that building has been replaced bungalow, playground with garage, tuck shop with a mere stall ….
Physical sports activities are now a story of Alice in wonderland ….. Children have nothing to play physical sports like, hockey, cricket, soccer etc. ….. College sports have been engulfed by the political games.
The three leaders of world ….. the only super power, the largest democracy and soul islamic nuclear state ….. are heartening Cricket Diplomacy … what a time we are living in when players from a particular SPORTS BY CHANCE will be used for emotional HATHYACHAR of the people of one country.
The ‘ever not so concerned’ masses discuss Revolution after seeing the breaking news about upheaval in Egypt, Libya and newly born South Sudan.
A question ….. Are we ready for Revolution?
Revolution against whom ….. Corrupted politicians, Government Institutions … hahhhhh
Why not revolt against ourselves …. Why not try to respect each other ….. try to fairly use the electricity thus not transferring the burden to the fair user … and so on ….. in all the aspects of our daily life.
“What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
And, to me … without revolt against oneself …..
Revolution !!! Pakistan !!! ….. WTF
Next ….. Luv 2 live in Kashmir
Have ur say ….. and keep visiting this blog more often …
